The Pablo Giménez Spanish Ensemble works with an entirely unique creative language that is characterized by a foundation of strong traditional flamenco roots, that are defined by the power of flamenco song and dance, but that experiments with the guitar’s contribution and the inclusion of nontraditional instruments, such as cello, to create new melodic soundscapes that seamlessly traverse the flamenco and Spanish classical and contemporary genres.
