Irene Morales was born in Granada in 1998 to a flamenco dancer mother, a grandfather who was a musician, and a great grandfather who was a luthier. At the age of 8, she began her training at the Granada Conservatory, and at 16 she began working professionally outside of her hometown and Spain, performing in the Carlos Saura film La Jota and traveling across the world with the Miguel Ángel Berna Company. She eventually finalized her studies in Madrid at the prestigious Conservatory of Dance Maria de Ávila.
From there she studied with some of the most famous choreographers and dancers in Spain and danced with a multitude of companies, touring Egypt, China, Italy, and Germany, to name a few. Her first solo production was Ánima, in which she directed a company of 23 artists. The world premiere in Granada was a sold out success.
